Resignation of the NaSTA Alumni Officer
As of the 1st of February, Matt Capon will be stepping down from his role as Alumni Officer. We understand it has been a hard decision for him, but we understand his reasons, and therefore we have accepted his resignation.
Matt’s remaining time in office will be dedicated to handing over all he has been working on, and passing on all of his collected wisdom for which we are grateful. As this role is elected at NaSTA conference which will be held just two months after this date, we have decided not to reopen the role and will hold the next Alumni Officer election at the aforementioned conference. In the months the role is vacant, the exec will take on the responsibilities of the role and continue to maintain and develop PaSTA.
Matt has been a huge part of NaSTA and has served the association superbly as Marketing Officer, Returning Officer, and Alumni Officer through his time. He has actively improved it every year and made the association better for every single member. We hope he’ll continue to be part of NaSTA through the fantastic alumni network he helped to build during his time.
It has been an honour to work with him, and we hope you will join us in wishing him all the best for the future. He has been a huge part of NaSTA, and a true friend to us all. Thank you Matt,
All the best
The NaSTA Exec
